Description:
Tablets for removal of tapeworms (cestodes) in dogs and cats.
Single-dose treatment against common tapeworm species.
Suitable for use in puppies and adult dogs.
Suitable for use in kittens and adult cats.
Approved Uses:
CESTEX® (epsiprantel) is approved for:
The removal of canine and feline cestodes Dipylidium caninum and Taenia pisiformis.
Key Features:
Fasting prior to administration is not necessary or recommended.
No known contraindications; can be dispensed with confidence.
Film-coated tablets are easy to swallow and leave no unpleasant taste.
Dispensing is easy with color-coded bottles and tablets in 4 strengths.
Exceptional safety and efficacy.
Dosage and Administration:
CESTEX tablets should be administered orally.
Recommended dosage:
2.5 mg/lb of body weight for dogs.
1.25 mg/lb of body weight for cats.
Precautions:
Safety in pregnant or breeding animals has not been determined.
Not for use in humans.
Do not use in puppies or kittens less than 7 weeks of age.
Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on order of a licensed veterinarian.
